Founders' Day Speech (14th July 2005)

A very good day to all Lamers and friends.

It has been almost two years since the fouding of our nation in 2003. Two years of hard work where we have built this nation from just volcanic ash from the undersea volcano. The relentless efforts put in by every single one of you in spreading Lamerism to the world are highly commendable, for Lame Isles would not have been what it is today without you.

Over the past year, Lame Isles has undergone many changes. For one, we have taken in many new members. We believe that every person has a right to be lame, hence every person who accepts Lamerism as the true art of being lame and requested to be a Lamer has been given an opportunity to prove his worth. Secondly, Lame Isles has succeeded in spreading Lamerism beyond our shores, and those of our Consulate in mainland Singapore. Specifically, we have sent envoys to the islands of Pulau Ubin and Saint Tosa, the Kingdom of the Royal Retardees, and even to Germany.

I am certain that with your contributions, Lame Isles will continue to grow and develop as a nation. It is no doubt that our mission to spread Lamerism to the world is challenging, yet it is only when challenged that a person can reach his full potential. Hence I urge every single one of you to stay strong in this journey towards true Lamerism, and wish you all the best for the year to come.

I hope you will have fun during the next few months when we will be holding numerous celebrations to mark the period of our nation's founding.

Thank you, and Stay Lame.
