Dear citizens of lameisles!

I have a very important announcment. It is being made on behalf or the presidant, Eugene Ang, and mistress of i dunno what Marianne Hendricks, and myself.

Today has been officially been named "i'm dumb day" by our very own presidant at aprox 1845 today.

"I'm dumb day" will fall every year just about 4 months before christmas, on the 25th of august. This day shall be respected by all citizens. As the presidant states,

on this day we must walk into walls, and do math sums on them
apart from this, we shall all act dumb...
not dumb as in unable to speak. but Dumb as in STUPID.

(lets jus hope no exams fall on this day)

Secondly, another day has been introduced. It is called the "i'm mean day"

obvious as the name suggests, all must be mean.

mean to everyone except ME. (:

btw, the green monster has been slayed.

What does Lamerism mean to you?
What do you see of Lame Isles ten years time?
A First-World country?
With a Great Metropolis?
Abandoned?

I took this of Charissa's blog. Quite lame. Decided that I shall now surf around blogs and pick out lame stuff worthy of being featured in the Chronicles.

"So, once upon a time there was a guy named girl and a girl named guy.The guy was walking down the street and me bumped into the girl.Guy asked Girl what the guys name was, and Girl asked the guy what his name was.so The girl said Guy and the guy said Girl.guy and girl made friends and lived happily ever after. (: "

I've been told that credits should also go to Jon Chen. Co-writer or something. Yeah.

And today, the 9pm Channel 8 show gave an example of a lame joke:

"There was once a man who was shaped like a sweet potato. One day, he walked and he fell"

That was so un-lame. Just wanted to prove how sucky scriptwriters can get.

Nominations for Senior Citizen of the Year
Calling all Lamers, if you know of a senior citizen who deserves to be commended for his/ her contributions to the community or for his/ her excellence in living life to the fullest, do nominate him/ her for the Senior Citizen of the Year.
Some names have been thrown out:
Cumarran's Grandmother (not sure of her name, or whether it's paternal or maternal, but all I know is that she's a real good sprinter. "My Grandmother can run faster than all of you.", nominated by me, and I'm sure she will be endorsed by all the other Scouts.)
Mrs Tan Eng Hong (Math Teacher at SJI, nominated by her students)
So, if you have any other people in mind, please post their names as soon as possible.

Greetings.

I should think that quite a few of you have heard about Edwin's upcoming marriage with his classmate (I'm the wedding planner!).

Well, I think there is a minor problem. 2 actually.

First, gay marraiges are not allowed in Singapore (like you didn't know that), so what better place to hold the wedding than Lame Isles!

So I planned for a Lame Isles wedding. But I realised that our Constitution (non-existent, so we follow the Constitution of Singapore) also doesn't allow same-sex unions.

Hence, I propose that Parliament pass a legislation to allow for such 'unholy unions'.

Edwin's future depends on you!

Secondly, we also have no place to hold the wedding.

I was thinking of the SandChurch on the island of St. Tosa, but I realised that it has been washed away. We will now have to hope that the Chief Architect can find the plan for the new church soon...

Best wishes to Edwin and his 'classmate'!

[I hope the conservatives are not offended by this. :)]
